Scouting from around the Brunel Scout District

Hello All, I'm just wanting to update everyone that Carson and I met while in the UK. We spent a week at BSA Camp Cris Dobbins outside Colorado Springs, Colorado last week and I wanted to send along a few pictures. Before getting to camp, we spent one night at the US Air Force Academy. It was a fantastic week with Boy Scout troops from Colorado, California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas and one troop from the UK, all working on merit badges and having a great time in the mountains. Please show them to your boys and give them our best regards. I'll send these in 3 or 4 emails. Say hello to all and I hope you're all doing well. I've lined up a few scouts here that would like to pen pal with their UK counterparts. Just let me know if you're interested. Thanks again to everyone we met. You all were great host and hopefully we can meet again someday. Just an update here in Kansas. It's 104 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm not sure what that is in Celsius, but it's darn hot. The 1st Bristol Muslim Scout Group support of the Bristol Rat race

Photos by Roy Harvey and Amir. 1st Bristol Muslim Scout Group - Trip to the Western Counties Air Operations Unit, Police Helicopter. 48 Members attended. Excellent Trip, despite the weather. Booked via PC Snow 0117 9365138 more suited for Beavers and Cubs. Scouts actually wanted to play with the controls and fly the helicopter which they are obviously not allowed. Would recommend to other District Groups. Keep group size to about 24 (allow 1-1.5 hours).
